MEET ERIN MARINO | DIRECTOR & FOUNDER, LA ESTABLISHMENT

Since launching LA Establishment in 2015, Erin Marino has been a driving force in helping dancers establish solid, sustainable careers in Los Angeles. With a career that spans education, choreography, production, and agency representation, Erin brings unmatched insight into what it truly takes to thrive in today’s dance industry.

Her journey began at the legendary Debbie Reynolds Studio, where she created and directed the Debbie Reynolds Scholarship Program—one of LA’s first structured pathways for aspiring professional dancers. She later helped build TMilly Studio alongside founder Tim Milgram, and went on to serve as Director of Education and Producer of Events at McDonald Selznick Associates (MSA), one of the industry’s top talent agencies, working in both Los Angeles and New York.

Now, Erin is fully dedicated to leading LA Establishment, where she produces all programming and events with precision and purpose. Every element of the curriculum is crafted from her deep experience across the entertainment landscape—from the studio to the stage, behind the camera to behind the scenes. Her work is grounded in the real-world demands of the industry and shaped by her passion for mentoring the next generation of professionals.

Our alumni have toured and performed with global icons such as Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Mariah Carey, Pharrell, Drake, Will Smith, Chance the Rapper, Quavo, Dua Lipa, Camila Cabello, Anderson .Paak, Lizzo, Halsey, Katy Perry, Janelle Monáe, Gwen Stefani, Saweetie, and Flo Rida.

Beyond the stage, they’ve danced in commercials and campaigns for powerhouse brands including Target, Disney, Pepsi, Best Buy, Lululemon, Reebok, and Adidas. Their talents have been showcased on major network events and television broadcasts such as the Oscars, Super Bowl, AMA’s, Grammy Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards, MTV Movie Awards, Latin AMA’s, BET Awards, Encanto Live, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Rose Parade, and Hairspray Live on NBC.

Many have also forged impactful careers in education, fitness, choreography, and production—demonstrating that rigorous training in the arts is not just a foundation, but a launchpad. This is proof: at LA Establishment, the journey is just the beginning.

I would not be who I am right now without LAE. This program opened up so many doors for me, which pushed me to explore myself as both an artist and a human being. This journey of exploration can be daunting when doing it by yourself, but LAE gave me a group of people who were carrying themselves through the same challenges and we all were willing to support each other through it. Additionally, Erin was a guiding light. She’s observant on what the collective needs and brings in the respective faculty. However, she also observes us on a personal level that makes this program feel more intimate. As a whole, LAE gave me a family and personalized my training, which helped me succeed immediately after exiting the program.

LAE programming not only has the best teachers, training, and guidance, but it has an unbelievably supportive and loving community. Everyone in the program receives intentional and specific feedback, along with opportunities to grow into their unique selves. Erin Marino had such a profound impact on my experience. She saw potential in me even when I didn’t always see it in myself, and pushed me to become more confident, intentional, and authentic in who I am. Her mentorship is something I’ll carry with me far beyond LAE.
